Do I live the Christmas message

  • Do I celebrate Christmas on Christmas Day fully?
  • Do I prepare for Christmas celebrating Advent fully?
  • Do I live Christmas all year round fully?

Do I celebrate Christmas on Christmas Day fully?: I hope we all know that we celebrate Jesus Christs’s Birthday on December 25th. I think most of us celebrate around a Christmas tree with gifts and gift giving. Some of us go to Mass (Christ mass) or some religious service. Listen to/Sing Christmas carols and hopefully reflect on “Joy to the World” and “Peace on Earth and Goodwill to Men”. Or are you one that gets wrapped up in all the commercial Holiday noise that has come to surround Christmas, and even maybe go as far as forgetting Jesus?

Do I prepare for Christmas celebrating Advent fully?: Do you put up Christmas lights, trim the tree, decorate the house in and out? Christmas shop till you drop? You may be participating in Advent without knowing it. Advent is the four Sunday period before Christmas where many Christians prepare for the coming of the Son of God. Seems like the commercial Christmas starts earlier and earlier. But the real reason to participate in Advent is to prepare our hearts to receive the ultimate gift from God to humanity. Our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Do I live Christmas all year round fully?: The real Christmas challenge is living the Christmas message all year round? The real Christmas message is simply “LOVE”. Love of this magnitude can be complicated to execute, especially given the circumstances we live in, and giving our limited human capacity to Love unconditionally. “But with God all things are possible” Matthew 19:26. All we have to do is ask, and ask, and ask, and ask, every day we need to ask and it will be giving to us.

Now go and give His LOVE to everyone you meet.
