Memories in Photos

We just went live on our website Santarocky.com with our Memories in Photos page in response to Covid-19 and the issue of getting pictures taken with Santa without potential spread of the virus. So I thought I would share some ideas on making these photos special.

First; and most important is we need good quality photos. Photoshop is a pretty cool program and our Elf Kevendidi (elfin for Kevin) is a master graphic artist. But photo quality and lighting are keys to make matching look as real as possible. So use a newer smart phone or digital camera to take your photos and try and get as good of lighting as you can.

Second; staging a good pose can make for unique photos. The classic and always a good pose is a child on Santa’s lap which is easy to create with child sitting on a parents lap. Important to have child sitting clearly on one side or the other. High back chairs help with good posture. If you are taking group photos make sure to leave a space for Santa, or Santa and Mrs. Claus, or even some elves. We will provide a Christmas theme background for pictures but if you have your own setting you would like to use take the photo and let us know this is the setting you want.

Third; we can do custom photos. Just let your imagination run wild. For custom photos please send us your ideas at Santarocky@santarocky.com and we will have one of our expert elves get back to you with a quote.

And remember NO ONE can cancel Christmas. See my next post ” Yes Virginia Christmas 2020 is Coming”
