Virginia Christmas 2020 is NOT canceled. Don’t cry and be sad. JESUS is coming. No autocrat, bureaucrat, media talkin head, government official, or well intentioned politician can cancel Christmas in the name of preventing the spread of a pandemic. Remember what Jesus said to Pilate ” You would have no power if it wasn’t given from above”. For starters it may be presumptuous to think they even know what Christmas is. For many of them Christmas is all about the bottom-line and how much money and economic effect Christmas can have on the 4th quarter and annual sales. The commercialization of Christmas is real. Some of the effects of commercialization, if true to core meaning of Christmas are remembered, are good. When power and bottom-line are your only perspective, and when you decide that others lives and livelihoods do not matter, then shutting down anything is OK.
What they may not realize is that Christmas Spirit comes from the heart. When something so wonderful fills the Human heart it just has to get out and spread it to the whole world. Christmas is the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Why is that important to me, Saint Nicolas/Santa Claus? For starters I dedicated my whole life to Him in service of his mission of spreading the good news as a Bishop of His Church in the third century. After my death my story lives on as Jesus has let me live on to spread Christmas Spirit to the world for centuries. He can do this because he was born on that Christmas day over 2000 years ago to bring all of us the possibility of eternal life with Him in heaven. And on that day Jesus gave us the greatest gift we could get and all we have to do is give that gift back to Him and all we meet. That gift is LOVE.
Love is that Christmas Spirit that is trying to get out of our hearts and spread all over the world. So I can guarantee you that Christmas Love will spread on December 25th, 2020 and keep Christmas alive. Yes Virginia I do believe their will be a present for you under your Christmas tree this year. I need your help because I know you have that Christmas love in your heart. I want you and all who read this post to wake up on Christmas morning and pray “Happy Birthday Jesus, come get Your Christmas Love“.
