The leaves are falling down only a few left, and thoughts of Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, with pumpkin pie, and family close fill my head. Thanksgiving will be a great distraction for me for my Christmas preparations. After Thanksgiving it will soon be Advent. Advent is the time for us to do our final preparations to receive Jesus in a very special way into our hearts on Christmas. Outwardly we begin to decorate our homes put up the Christmas tree’s and all the amazing decorations that make our homes and world transform into a winter wonderland of Christmas Joy. We need to remember to open our hearts to the joy and Christmas Love that Jesus brings us.
