Ho, Ho, Ho. We are announcing today June 1st, Christmas in July Covid-19 Fund Raiser.
Santa Claus/St. Nicholas lost his parents to a deadly plague much like Covid-19 in the 3rd century that spread across Lycia Asia Minor (present day Turkey). During these times there was not the system of first responders and medical personnel that we have today. St. Nicholas spent much of his young adulthood helping people in this region by donating most of his family wealth to help the poor and needy.
In this spirit, Santa and Mrs. Claus would like to raise funds to help Covid-19 casualties and children of our first responders and medical personnel. These children have sacrificed much while their parents worked long hours away from home risking their own and their family’s health and safety helping coronavirus patients.
We would like to provide “Christmas in July” presents for as many of these kids as we can, who through no fault of their own have been quarantined in their homes.
